Write-a-Check Campaign Thank you to everyone who has offered support to our fundraising efforts year to date! As we near the end of the calendar year, we have elected to launch our first Write-a-Check Campaign and are providing an NGBPA fundraising update to help with understanding the need for this additional fundraiser. (Reminder: NGBPA is a 501(c)(3) organization so your donation may be tax deductible.) Through sponsorships, bracelet sales, our 50/50 raffle and more, to date we have raised just over $15,000, about 38% of our $40,000 fundraising goal. Purchases and contributions to expenses incurred from fundraising dollars YTD include, but are not limited to: Classroom music, Winds and Percussion Instructors, Instrument maintenance for school-owned instruments, Color Guard rifles and flags, Marching Band props, Buses to Moultrie for band support of the football team state playoff game (unbudgeted expense) Click this link to download the flyer, share it with family and friends, and consider an end of year contribution.
